Those Bollywood Nights

Things went really well with our 'Bollywood Night' and we managed to raise $210 for an Indian couple who are seeking asylum, after they converted to Christianity, and are now persecuted.

We had some amazing decorations and everyone got a Mango Lassie and a bling bracelet as they came in the door.
My 8 year old son made this model with his support teacher in Term 4 last year.
There was so much food because everyone brought a plate to share. Lots of delicious curries, dahl, papadums, naan bread, lentils and chick peas.
There was even home made iced chai tea.
My India Quiz was a little hard. The highest score was 33/40 which was pretty good.
Heidi was able to share her first hand experience of visiting India with a group called YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and seeing one family care for more than 100 orphans.
My marigolds were not as good as the tutorial
elephants aplenty
Lainie's flowers looked so much better than mine.
We all had fun dancing along to Bollywood music and we even had a belly dancer show us a few moves.
