Sunday Stash #3

I am late to the party I know. When Denyse Schmidt's fabrics hit Spotlight stores last year, I must have been under a rock! Anyway, when I picked up the new 'Daisy Mae' fabrics I noticed that there were some other other lines on the racks. Some were together and some were scattered in amongst the colour-coded bolts on the quilting shelves. So on Wednesday I got a chance to go back and hunt them down. This is what I found. Delicious! And still only $11.98 per meter!
Now, my receipt has listings of fabrics from a line called 'Salty Aire' and 'Winding Roads' but I am not sure which is which in this stack. I bought half meter lots in the hope that I can get some decent fat quarters.

No plans for these fabrics yet...but it will come to me I am sure.
I also did a little shopping for my Etsy friend Simone from Local Honey Crafts - like a reversal of roles. I have recently bought DS fabrics and vintage sheet FQs from her. She was interested in some of the fabrics that are apparently only released in Australia.
I think these are from the two aforementioned lines, but I am not sure which is which either.
So it's my first fabric transaction on Etsy. Not used to listing anything else but quilts...but hey...nice to return the favour. These are all packaged up now and will be posted tomorrow.
I also managed to finish the 3rd notebook cover today. This is the one for my MOPS friend Jen...a belated birthday gift she will get on Friday at our next MOPS meeting.

    1. Waverlee...that is a lovely print. So your mum is a quilter too? I'd love to see her creations.

Thanks again for my special order. I can't wait to see them in person. I just love all of the pink/red prints you get at Spotlight.
