Sunday Stash #53

A couple of us might double up with fabrics this week. We are the happy recipients of the Japanese Bundle Club at Blossom Heart Quilts. Alyce is in the unique position of sourcing Japanese fabrics as she lives in Chiba in Japan.

Each month she chooses a theme and sends out a mystery pack of six prints. I decided to get a Fat 8th bundle for January and February. The March theme is Japanese Kawaii.

You may have been reading Alyce's blog whilst she has been visiting family and friends in Australia. Her 'Tea for Two' pattern is still on sale through Craftsy (made it to #2 this week) to help support her sister and brother-in-law who lost their near term baby early last month. You can see a beautiful photo and read a heartfelt thank you from them here on Alyce's blog. Warning: it may make you cry!

Winner Winner!

The random winner of last Sunday's Anniversary gift is  #8 Audrey from Hot Pink Quilts. I will be sending you the copy of Australian Quilter's Companion in the post.

Thank you to the lovely 10 ladies who linked up last week. It was nice to have a few new blogs to visit on Sunday Stash.

Now it's your turn. Please feel free to link up below.

Sunday Stash #51

Molli Sparkles

If you are looking for the Sunday Stash linky party, you can find it over with Josh at Molli Sparkles. He promises something very special so I am curious to find out what.

And Something for Me
Feedsack II c.1930 by Sara Morgan for Blue Hill

When I was at my Local Quilt Store,   Rainbow Patchwork recently I was attracted to two retro prints in two different colourways. I bought 2 metres of each to make myself some summer skirts using the Amy Butler Barcelona Skirt pattern I bought last year.

And then on a whim I bought this fabric - maybe to make some cushion covers??? It reminds me of a great Ikea print from a couple of years ago.

Melrose by Anna Fishkin and Monica Zhu for Red Rooster Fabrics
And I resisted the urge to add some Japanese Indigo prints into my stash.

Pretty good of me don't you agree?

See you over at Molli Sparkles for the Link Up. Thanks Josh.

Sunday Stash #46

A Bit of Whimsy

Today Sunday Stash is being hosted by Audrey of Hot Pink Quilts. So you can head on over there to link up your lovelies.

I wanted to share a couple of sweet fabrics from my stash I bought because they were too cute to resist. Both come from The Alexander Henry Collection 2011

'Flea Market Friends'

Little animals at the arty flea market. Check out the picture frames, bunting and clocks.

'The ABC's of Fleas'

Who can resist fabric with kettles, typewriters and teddies?

I am heading over to link up with SS Centre City at Hot Pink Quilts - see you there!

Sunday Stash #26

Wash, Cook and Sew

Today's stash adds have an air of domesticity about them.

All three are linen/cotton blends from Japan. I purchased these back in July from Xiong Minna of Minna Fabric on Etsy. It was when I was collecting for the Texting Whist Sewing challenge on Flickr. (I have not made anything for this challenge yet as I am busy getting my project ready for the Practically Paper Piecing blog hop when it stops here on August 2oth!)

Wash
 Cook
 Sew
So what's new-ish in your stash this week?

Feel free to link up below...I enjoy seeing what each of you are adding as I know a few of you got squishy mail this week!

Sunday Stash #17

The last half of my week has seen me lose my voice and take to my bed with sinus pain...so all my sewing projects are untouched.
But this week's Sunday Stash is brought to you today by some recent clearance purchases from Kerry at Sew Dearly Loved on Etsy.

These are from a Denyse Schmidt range called 'Greenfield Hill' that I have NOT seen in Australia. They are from the cranberry and blueberry colourways.
L-R Library Stripe, Mill Plain and Ladies League in cranberry - mirrored in blueberry
I also bought this cute little Japanese fabric called 'All through the Town' by Fumika Oishi.
So what's new in your stash this week?

Feel free to add your blog link below and pay a little visit to the ones in the collection. Thank you to those who are starting to link up regularly. It's nice to have your support.
