Stale Stash Swap Update
You may remember back in Sunday Stash #77 in August that I posted a few fabrics that I was willing to swap or post to anyone who wanted them.
I had a few inquiries but only one lady actually followed through. Erin from Thready Bear Quilts. I swapped her my blue and pink vintage sheet prints. Actually I threw in a few extras too.
Erin sent me a box of Joyful Harvest fabrics. Very Christmassy nes pas?
Thank you Erin.
Have you had success with Stale Stash Swaps?

Nice fabrics - what are your plans for them? It wasn't strictly a stale fabric swap but we did a FQ swap at FQ Retreat, taking nice stuff to swap (there was an ugly swap too - it was BAD!) and I came away with some great prints and got rid of excess so it worked well.
ReplyDeleteI just did a little FQ swap but it was for fabric that we each wanted but the other had. Tula Pink Neptune for Heather Ross Far Far Away. Maybe it was a my precious sort of swap :) We did a scrap bin swap at Sewing Summit. I dropped of scraps I didn't want and grabbed some I liked. When I came back again mine were gone and I did another exchange. Oh, and Making Rebecca Lynne is hosting a swap for hard to find fabrics you've been wanting or missed out on. It seems promising :)
ReplyDeleteI've never done a stale stash swap, though I've got plenty of stale stash I wouldn't mind getting rid of! (I have a hard time imagining anyone wanting it, though - if I dislike it so much, if anyone likely to want to get their hands on it?)
