Sunday Stash #34

That's Lisa at the counter. The shop offers classes for quilting, sewing and scrapbooking.

Simply Crafts is a Patchwork and Paperwork (also online) shop in the sweet coastal town of Yamba. I have been inside every time I get away there. It's run by two lovely ladies, Lisa and Gabrielle.

I picked up a lot of goodies from my visit there last week.

Four snack bags Lisa made with laminated fabric. They were $20 each but well worth it for the fabric and effort to make. The shop just took hold of an order of Amy Butler laminates - I was very tempted to buy the raincoat pattern and some material to make it. Next time!
Dr Seuss for the boys, brown freckles for me and the sweet flowers for Fran.
This fabric was in 1m cuts for only $12. That's cheap for an Australian Quilt Shop.
The striped fabric is Cosmo Cricket, the flowers are 'Feedsack VI'  by Windham Fabrics and the grey double dots are 'Fly Away' by Robert Kaufman
Then there were some sweet FQ bundles. The purple bundle of 7 was $45 and the brown and orange bundle of 7 were $35.
All but the purple dots are from 'Dress Up Days' by dohikey designs for Riley Blake. The orange, carrot and white dot on brown are 'Metro Living' by Robert Kaufman. Not too sure on the others sorry.
Aren't the girls sweet? I do not have much purple in my stash.

Thank you to Kristy from Quiet Play who hosted Sunday Stash #33 last week when I was heading home from holidays. Thanks for still supporting it by linking up. I may have to adopt it out more often in the future. Let me know if you would be interested in hosting Sunday Stash in the future.

Feel free to link up below...

    1. I am looking forward to seeing them. Mareen (below) has just made a fab quilt using viking fabric that might interest you for the pirate stash. It has some world map prints. See this linky. http://aquamareencrafting.blogspot.com.au/2012/09/wip-vikings-35.html

  2. Love the brown and orange bundle. It's pretty funky. I've got yardage of the brown twine in my faraway stash and used some of it along with a blue hue in a baby quilt once. I don't think I ever blogged about it so might upload a few pics next week. :)

  3. That purple bundle is just gorgeous! Any plans for it just yet?
And I like those snack bags too...we need something like that - the boys' lunchbags are getting a bit on the crusty side!

  7. wow, the Dr. Seus fabric even matches up so Horton's head isn't cut off by the bag flap! I'm always so impressed when I see other people put such attention to detail into their work :)
