Patchwork Ribbon
This was another quick Zakka Style project and I don't know why I did not tackle it earlier.
I used 3 jelly roll strips that I got in a mystery Moda bag a while back. Then a bunch of scraps left over from the log cabin bedside table runners I made earlier in the year.
I am not sure when I will use this ribbon but it looks good on my spool for now.
Such a pretty spool, and your ribbon is beautiful. I did the same thing, using one of those Moda scrap bags for some pieces. I love the way your end is finished, too. So nice to have found you through this sew along!
Hi Fiona, I just wanted to let you know I've been having a look around your blog! I found you via a comment you made about Australian quilters shopping online, which I happened to see on Lynne of Lily's quilts blog and thought it'd be fun to make a few more Aussie quilter connections. Just linked up to the sunday Stash, tho' must say that the button defeated me...!

ReplyDeleteSome great looking ribbon there. I like the way you neatened the edges as opposed to the Zakka style one =D
